A split end is already damaged, and nothing you do will make it undamaged. The only thing you can do to get rid of it is to have it trimmed off. Even if you want your hair to stay long, you should have an inch or so trimmed off periodically. The split ends tend to fall off, and then they split again at the new spot, so it's best to have it trimmed down to healthy hair.

Condition your hair regularly, to help it stay in good condition. If you don't need to use a daily conditioner, you can just put olive oil in it once a week. Saturate all your hair, and then wrap it up in a warm towel. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then wash it out really gently.

You can also help prevent split ends by treating your hair gently. Don't use a lot of force when brushing, and when you use a towel, don't rub your hair; either squeeze it gently, or just wrap your head in a towel for a little bit and let the towel soak up the water.

It's normal..and no, white hair doesn't necessarily mean you'll go bald. To know if you can expect baldness, take a look at your mom's dad for hints. If he is, chances are you will.

For the white hair, you could pluck out the hairs if they really bother you. If there's streaks and you think it's too obvious, you can dye your hair to your normal color, but you'll have to keep up wtih it.

White hair does not mean you will lose your hair. Premature gray hair can occur, but I would not worry about that. Its not unheard of to get an occasional white hair or so.

But I would recommend not wearing ball caps or hats unless you have to. Wool hats and ski masks don't count - you need them for winter sometimes. In many cases of premature baldness, the majority have wore caps.. in military and frequently in civilian life.

I seldom ever wear a hat or cap, I'm 48 and still have a head full of hair while most of my childhood friends and cousins my age gave lost theirs. I have a few gray hairs but you have to be standing face to face with me and look for them. Which I advise you don't, because the minute you start preening my hair I'm Guenna hurt ya. =o)

I am serious about the hats, if baldness concerns you. Now, sometimes if baldness is purely genetic (non of your parents or grandparents, etc) ever wore hats and caps - then nothing you do will stop it. I do hear inherited baldness comes from the mother's side.

we have basically the same face/hair/eye coloring. try a thin line of black eyeliner, black lengthening mascara, and some sheer pink gloss. for eye shadow, my favorite is light pink or brownish-gold - the same color you would get from pressed face powder that makes your skin darker (bronzer?). this brings out brown eyes. good luck!

Curl your hair at the ends and run a blow dryer over it to give it a more fluffy look.

Makeup: use a dark brown on your eyes and use eyeliner on the top lids to make you lashes look fuller. Also curl your eyelashes a LOT!!! it looks really feminine and it looks a little un-natural; like what you are looking for. and use a plain gloss for you lips. don't use blush on you skin b/c it is an olive color

oh i forgot: use eyeliner to create the Egyptian look, you know extend the eyeliner a little further than your actual lashes.

How fun! You will have a great time at your dance. You sound as though you look similar to me so Ill tell you what I did when I wear a white dress.

1. For my eyes, I use light silver along the eyelid and in the inner corners of my eyes. I also use a little along my lower lash. Then I follow by a black gel liner (Bobbi Browns is awesome, but there are many cheaper ones as well). Extend the liner a little farther than your natural lash line for a dramatic effect. In the crease and outer corners I use a small bit of sparkly black shadow. Smudge it out so it blends well. This should give you a smokey look without being too much.

2. For skin I would use a foundation with lots of bronzer instead of blush.

3. For lips I would do somthing very nude and shiny, I will make your eyes "Pop"

5. For hair I would blow out with a large round brush, and curl with a curling iron using the iron straing up and down to create a soft wave.

First of all, I have had my hair like this in the past, so please be cautious. The first thing to worrry about it the fact that what you bleach... will unavoidably be damaged to some extent. Bleaching natutally DARK (black, dark brown, aubourn) hair will take multiple processes, as well as alot of chemicals to become "white blonde". The first bleaching process will be ORANGE!!!! I suggest going with light brown or medium brown highlights, and then gradually (like two to three weeks AT LEAST ) between dye jobs. But if your heart is set on "white - blonde", GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!!

I use wax first, then some Nexxus Exxtra Hold Styling gel. That combo should give you the spiky hair you want.

You can either dye it (which always looks bad) or use it to your advantage.

If you have really blonde hair, do NOT dye it a red toned color! It may not come out, if you don't like it and try to fix it. I suggest going to a salon instead of doing it at home.

Appart from it maybe being Passed down thru family genes, maybe your hair is growing at a faster rate than usual,apparently it goes thru certain stages, and sometimes the folicles make the hair turn grey because they lose the ability to produce coloured pigments, so the hairs are just nude^^

It may not be white it could be a really light blonde caused by the sun bleaching it. It happens too my hair a lot in the summer at the front which looks like grey/white i used to get bullied at school coz of it. If it really bothers you though just pull/cut it out , or dye it.

dont worry.

Heat (dont burn or boil) coconut oil with curry leaves or black pepper. Apply it over night or for 2 hours atleast n then wash off normally.

Dont ever pluck or u'll have a head full of them. Use a paper scissor n cut it urself tell any1 to cut it close to root tip, do this every time it glows.

I wont really suggest u dieing at such a tender age. If u can then apply an indian herb called mehandi, its a natural die with no side effects n is a gud conditioner it kinda gives a orange burgandy shade.

Stress n digestive probs can be a problem so try taking salads , green vegetables in particular, drink lots of water. Dont stress. It can even be hereditary so u may check doctor but i dont think it really helps. Take 2 cup milk everyday 4 sure. Gud luck

dont worry about it, i dont think its stress related.. these things actually just happen. My hair is black also and I find a few of these every now and again... it doesnt mean all of your hair will turn white anytime soon. Even now at almost 30 years old i get one every big once in a while. Dont listen to people who tell you if you pluck it then three more will appear.. thats just a myth. Pluck it out and dont worry ^_^

you are right...well kind of.saddle sores are kind of like a blister under the skin creating pockets of serum between the layers or even deeper into the connective fascia that holds the pigment of the skin.when this happens the skins pigment will flow out of the the affected area creating a white patch of skin and therefore making the hairs also white when they grow in.girth galls or cinch galls usually don't affect the deep tissue that holds the pigments so they will grow back the same color that was there before....does that explain it?

edit:hey i was just reading one of my old vet books and it is also called a "sitfast"wound.but it didn't give a definition it just referred me to galls.

i usually cant sleep but it helps.my vet books from the 1600s give me nightmares

Its the pressure of the saddle.

Its put on a small area for extended periods of time. The cinch galls, are galls, not really pressure points.

My mule has them, it stinks, felt I was doing the right thing by cutting holes in his pad around his lipomas and only created white marks and still made him sore. Sometimes they do go away in the shedding of the coat, but the big ones are there to stay when you see them.

I'm think it's probably similar to humans (not age, but scarring)... What happens as a human, and the reason that you are slightly more prone to scarring when you're younger is because the skin repairs itself before the correct coloring sets in...though in horses, it's prbably both scarring/damage to the skin, as well as the hair follicles withing.

With scares that they just grow back white. Even on a grey horse, its looks kinda funny. A horse I showed last year had white spots on his withers just because he's been ridden so many years its just saddle rub. There are ways to help prevent it, have a good pad. I use a big felt pad, its almost like the IMPACT pad. This is a good layer that prevents the saddle from rubbing. Also saves the horses back when riding for a long time.

For the girth get a one of those rubber ones. They won't cause burn. the synthetic ones are terrible, they can't stay tight, burns the horse.

It is up to you if you want to cover it or not. If you feel like you look better without it then dye it. It is normal to have some grey hairs at 29. I knew someone who had grey hairs at 17 (but she dyed it) so definitely 29 is fine.

It's normal. Some people grey earlier than others. I was 24 when I started getting grey hair and yes I color it on a monthly basis. It's up to you if you want to color your hair or not.
