Hairspray turns to white spec stuck to my hair?

after hair is washed and dried, old hairspray turns to white spec stuck to my hair. My hair is flying everywhere as it is not thick enough. So I used a little more of flexible hold to hold. The next thing I know these spray are hard to wash away. No matter how, there are always some stuck to the hair and becomes white spec after hair being dried.

There are a few ways to prevent this. First, even though it may be tempting if your hair isn't behaving, don't use too much hairspray, as you will need to rinse and repeat to get it all out. Second, I have found that lower quality hairsprays are much harder to wash out AND tend to flake out of your hair before the day is done.
