no there really is nothing you can do. but as long as it is not falling out i would simply dye it to match your current hair color. besides your going to be in high school soon so dyeing your hair is not too strange, having grey hair is odd for a twelve year old. be cool not odd.

Kids have been known to become grey very early and there is nothing you can do to stop it especially if it runs in the family.

as u have mentioned it is partly hereditary

few things u can try:

regular oil is very important,weekends u can oil with castor oil to which add few fried curry leaves.this should be left for 2 hrs after which clean with soapnut powder/paste

eat healthy,stay healthy!

it could be that his hair is transitioning. this happens when you hair swaps colors. it can be natural. it habbened to me and my hair is jet black
