I'd go to a hairdresser if I were you.

If you're not extremely careful when bleaching hair yourself, you'll end up with a very bad hair color, or no hair at all.

Leave it up to the professionals!

i bet ya could

Well, I'm not a hair expert so I'd wait for other answers, but I'd think you would be able to. Just be sure to wait a while. Whatever color you do dye it to will probably not show up as dark as it would on a darker hair-color.

yes but wait 2 weeks or you will really damage your hair, i recomend natural instincts by clairol, it is all natural and it is gentel on your hair, it is a 24 wash out but some of the color will stay, so i would go a shade darker than you want and it will lighten about a shade lighter in about a week of washing it, i use it and my hair is almost black for a week b4 it fades to a nice medium brown, but its really gentel on your hair and dosent burn or smell bad

Yes you can that is called putting a toner on it to bring the color down some because it is too white. Any color you pick will most likely come out true to tone because it is on a white canvas as if someone w/ darker hair used the same color it would come out darker. U shouldn't use a box color tho cuz it sucks to get out when your want to bleach it again later. Good luck. Hope I helped. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

You have removed all of the natural pigments by bleaching, so you must be EXTRA careful when you go putting another color over it. If you use a cool or ash based color over it, you'll get green or vilet tinted hair. Also, if you use a warm or auburn color, you will likely get that color's underlying tones to come out too bright (think clown orange). Also, when you put any color over it, it is likely to fade more than normal as well.

Truly, your best bet is to seek advice of a licensed pro in person. They can see and feel your hair and advise you on the best course of action for satisfactory results without damaging your hair beyond repair. Many salons offer complimentary consultations.

If you're set on going your own way, try coloring over with a Demi-permanent color that uses "natural" or "neutral" in the name. These are least likely to give you strange color undertones in your hair. You would be well served to visit a Sally Beauty Supply store in your area (www.sallybeauty.com). Every store employs at least one licensed professional cosmetologist and they are always happy to help you find your perfect match. I highly recommend the Ion Brilliance color line sold at Sally's.

Remember, when in doubt, seek the advice of a professional in person. You will spend a significant amount of money having a pro correct color you have botched.

Best of luck!

Take it from my latest personal experience. I got my highlights OVER DONE to white. When you hair becomes white is because the pigmentation is COMPLETELY GONE and the cuticle of your hair is completely open and striped. Toner won't do anything to your hair it will only contribute to split ends and breakage. You have to wait at least 4 weeks to go near chemicals again or believe me your hair will be gone (damaged for good) for now i was told of this extremly good treatment for your hair PhytoCitrus from the chain of Phyto products this products is for color/bleached hair.I was told of this by my hair technician.

I would go to a salon and have them do a test piece,as it can really grab the toner being so light.

That was clever, lol, sorry. But at least you have an idea of how you will look as an OAP.
