I've been told after hormone changes where melanin isn't being put into your hair anymore because of psychological distress, your hair can lose its color (turns white)
If you get better though, can it change back?
If your hair turned white from Psych. distress, can it change back?
I takes time for hair to turn white, but I think once it doesn to gray or white it stays that way unless you dye it.
If your hair turned white from Psych. distress, can it change back?
dye it black...DUH!!!!
If your hair turned white from Psych. distress, can it change back?
There has never been a corroborated case of this EVER happening - hair is dead and cannot turn white overnight without the help of bleaching agents and the like. What HAS happened and has been corroborated, however, is a person with salt-and-pepper hair going through a trauma which caused the remaining pigmented hair to fall out, making it SEEM as though the person's hair turned white overnight.
In any case, your question isn't possible to answer because of the fact that there has never been a verified case of this happening.
