I have been told that it only works on dark hair........surely there must be something out there?
Is there any laser hair removal treatment that works on very blonde/white hair?
There are currently no laser or any other types of devices that will permanently zap the hair other than electrolysis which works on a hair by hair basis. Do not let someone talk you into thinking that laser will work on blond hair-- it won't...they are only tryignt o make money. In fact, some people who have laser on fine, blond hair have reported that the hair became darker and/or coarser. Check hairtell.com and hairfacts.com and you will see all the info in details including personal reports of progress.

It works on hair, it doesn't matter the color of it.

Dear Gemma,
Natural blonds have the reverse problems to darker skin beauties when it comes to hair removal via laser. Darker skins have the problem of getting burnt because the laser is VERY attracted to darker hair and darker skin. If you have very fair hair (aka: light blond), the laser might not be able to properly detect the hair and your results might not be the best. This is the same problem with people wanted to use lasers to remove white hair. The lighter the pigmentation, the harder it is for the laser to work effectively.
There has been talk for a while about a laser for light blonds/white hair, but it's not made its way to the market yet. It's most likely a question of time since a lot of Baby Boomers have grey hair, and I'm sure a lot of them would still continue with their laser treatments.
Waxing or shaving might be your best options!

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://7ou.info/
